Counseling

The steps to finding meaning within your authentic self is a process to be cultivated and nurtured. I utilize a strength-based humanistic approach grounded in social justice philosophy. I provide counseling services for children, youth, and families who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, ally, and other sexualities and gender identities (LGBTQ+). I offer a personalized approach tailored to the unique and individual needs of each client in both short-term and long-term counseling.  I provide a warm and safe place for my clients to connect with their authentic self in a private setting with a view of the Boise River. Together, we will explore your unique experiences, thoughts and feelings and develop a plan that works to best suit your needs. My areas of counseling expertise include depression and anxiety, identity, gender, sexuality, strengthening relationships, addressing barriers and obstacles in life, increasing self-esteem and confidence, support during times of changes and loss, and supporting your journey in seeking balance in life and strength within yourself. My goal is to assist you in empowering yourself through balance, awareness, knowledge and skills that enable you to gain a sense of meaning in your life.
